Craving pizza...
Who has the best pizza in Wise County and who has the best deals?
Not sure about the best deals, but here are my 'rankings':
1. Papa Johns - IMO the best tasting toppings, sauce, cheese, etc. and large pizza slices
2. Pizza Plus - Pizza tastes great but I find that the pizzas can sometimes be a little small
3. Roma's - I hope I got the name right; it's the homemade pizza place in Wise; they have pretty good pizzas that are fairly large as well; if you like the homemade-style pizza over the 'Pizza chain'-style pizza, I'd recommend giving them a try
4. Little Caesars - Not sure if they still have the "hot & ready" type of deal going on in which you grab a pizza and walk out instead of waiting for it to be made, but they have underrated pizza IMO; you don't hear about it much but it's good
5. Pizza King - The pizza isn't bad, but it just isn't as good in my opinion as the ones listed above
6. Pizza Hut - Once one of my favorites, they've gone way downhill over the years; not recommended for many reasons

The only pizza offered in Wise County that I "crave" anymore is from Romano's. I like all the varieties (inlcuding a thin crust bacon & mushroom!) but the Sicilian style is the best.

I can't even stand chain-restaurant pizzas anymore.
You'll shoot your eye out.

Romas supreme or what ever they call it is the best by a local company. OMG it is a work of art.
Pizza hut is the best chain imho.
County schools pizza is also a great deal that kicks ass.
GO VOLS
True dat, their supreme is crazy. Absolutely loaded with toppings and each slice is gigantic.

Papa Johns- first choice and Pizza Hut can be anywhere from close second to very worse.
Hmmm... we used to eat Pizza Hut a long time ago but haven't been there in a long time. I used to really like their pizza.
I'm not sure who supplies the pizza that most of the schools around here sell at the football and basketball games, but I think it's Pizza Plus. I don't think it's good. Some of the pizza I've bought at the games tasted like sauce spread on cardboard.
I was thinking that someone told me Pizza King has a deal on Tuesdays to get 2 large pizzas for the price of one.
Romano's in Norton. Only birck oven around. Enough Said.
